In JetBrains Air, your agent may use strange status words like “Chugging”, “Puttering”, “Rummaging”, “Musing”, “Percolating”, etc.
This can be confusing, annoying, or simply unprofessional. What I mean is that an AI is neither a real person, nor a cow, nor a horse 🫩. From my point of view, it contributes to a certain degree of AI fatigue.
Let’s fix that feature. Because yes, it really is a feature. Look for “Show playful status words while the agent is working” in settings, and disable it:
Once disabled, it will say “Running”.
